General Information Only

The information provided on this website is for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute professional engineering, architectural, legal, insurance, financial, or regulatory advice. Nothing on this website creates a client relationship, engagement agreement, or professional obligation between you and Property Resilience Group ("PRG").

No Guarantee of Outcomes

Property assessments and recommendations are based on observed conditions, available information, the agreed scope, and applicable standards or program criteria at the time of the engagement. Property-hardening measures and resilience improvements reduce risk but cannot eliminate every hazard or guarantee:

  • Prevention of loss, damage, or injury from wildfire, flood, wind, storm, or any other event;
  • Insurance eligibility, policy placement, coverage approval, or premium reductions;
  • Compliance with any particular regulatory requirement or program standard; or
  • Certification, rating, or approval by any government agency, insurer, or third party.

Licensed Work Performed by Others

PRG provides assessment, planning, implementation management, documentation, education, and program coordination services. Work requiring a professional or contractor license—including construction, engineering, surveying, and licensed trades—is performed by appropriately licensed independent providers working within the PRG-managed project scope. PRG does not hold a contractor's license and does not perform licensed construction or engineering work directly.

Scope of Assessments

PRG assessments are visual and observational in nature unless otherwise specified in a written engagement agreement. They are not engineering inspections, code-compliance reviews, or structural analyses. Assessments are based on conditions observable at the time of the site visit and available information provided by the client or obtained from public sources. Conditions not visible or accessible at the time of assessment are not included.

Insurance and Regulatory Matters

PRG does not provide insurance advice, act as an insurance agent or broker, or make representations about insurance eligibility, coverage, or underwriting decisions. Any documentation PRG produces may be provided to insurers or regulators at the client's discretion, but PRG makes no representation that such documentation will result in any particular insurance or regulatory outcome.

Jurisdictional Variation

Wildfire defensible-space requirements, flood regulations, building codes, and other standards vary by jurisdiction. PRG develops recommendations using applicable local requirements and recognized mitigation guidance, but clients are responsible for verifying current requirements with the applicable authorities having jurisdiction.

Accuracy of Information

While we make reasonable efforts to keep the information on this website accurate and current, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the information. Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk.
